How to make an image bigger without losing quality in Photoshop?

When I resize an image it becomes blurry and fuzzy. Is there a way to make pictures larger without loosing the quality or sharpness?

Unfortunately there is no way to make the original image bigger without losing sharpness/quality. Any process that is done to the file to increase it beyond original size will result loss of clearness. When you increase raster images (jpg, bmp, tiff, png, etc) the software creates extra pixels (raster images made up of dots called pixels) in order to make the picture bigger. It guesses what pixels should be made up and those guesses are not always good. That's why pictures get fuzzy.
Although, there are tools that help to make better guesses. For example, there is a Photoshop plug-in called Genuine Fractals Print Pro which can produce better results than standard resizing. This is very common problem. There are many other options and opinions on what is the best way to sharpen images.

Fuzzy Octopus pretty much explains things well enough. The bottom of line is: you can't.
